Hackathon — Shazam prize winner
Phillips Hue lights that react to music.
A microphone captures ambient sound, Shazam identifies the track, LastFM maps the genre to a colour palette, and the Hue bulbs shift accordingly. All running on a Raspberry Pi.
Why? Because why not — it sounded like a fun enough concept to hack with. The room responds to the vibe of the music.
Built in a team of four at HackKing's 3.0. Won Shazam's prize for best use of their API.
